Meet the Mascots: Derpy Tiger and Sussie
Derpy Tiger and Sussie are featured in the acclaimed animated series KPop Demon Hunters. In the story, the group Huntr/x is a K-pop girl group by day and a team of demon slayers by night, using their voices to repair the Honmoon and shield humanity from demonic threats. Much like Huntr/x and the Saja Boys, these mascots have won the hearts of viewers everywhere and are expected to be a standout attraction for families and fans alike during the parade.
A Stellar Year for KPop Demon Hunters
It's no exaggeration to say that 2025 has been the year of KPop Demon Hunters. The Sony Animation production has risen to number one as the most-watched film on Netflix, earned five nominations at the Grammys, and the vocal talents behind Huntr/x—Ejae (Rumi), Audrey Nuna (Mira), and Rei Ami (Zoey)—gave a live performance on a popular television program, presenting a stunning Honmoon-worthy act.
Making things even better, Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami are also scheduled to perform live during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Viewers can look forward to a show-stopping musical number from the group.
Future Plans for the Franchise?
A new feature film, KPop Demon Hunters 2, is reportedly in development, with a potential release in the year 2029.
